Every Chihuahua puppy purchased from us comes with a health guarantee. You must take your new Chihuahua puppy to a licensed veterinarian for an examination within 10 days of purchase. If the veterinarian finds that your puppy is clinically ill or has died from an injury or illness likely contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery, you can contact us within those 10 days.
Our Chihuahua puppies are fully guaranteed to be in excellent health and free from any infections or contagious diseases at the time of adoption. We take pride in maintaining a lasting relationship with you beyond the adoption of your Chihuahua puppy. As dedicated breeders, experienced puppy counselors, and passionate Chihuahua enthusiasts, we strive to ensure nothing goes wrong with our puppies. However, certain factors such as genetics, exercise, nutrition, and overall care are beyond our control. While we can’t guarantee that your Chihuahua puppy will never face health issues, we promise to do our best to ensure your new family member is healthy.
Although we understand that a Chihuahua puppy is irreplaceable, we believe that having another furry companion can sometimes ease the pain. In the unlikely event that your Chihuahua puppy passes away within one year from its birth due to genetic issues, or if it is diagnosed with congenital or hereditary disorders within one year that adversely affect its health, we will replace the puppy with another of equivalent value at no cost to you. This replacement is contingent on certification by a licensed veterinarian.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
We are delighted to bring a healthy, happy Chihuahua puppy to your home and seek your cooperation to maintain their health. Here are a few guidelines: Provide us with a copy of the medical examination record within 4 business days of receiving your Chihuahua puppy. The examination must be conducted by a licensed veterinarian. Your Chihuahua puppy will come with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations, so please avoid vaccinating within the first ten days of receiving your puppy. Although we de-worm and vaccinate your puppy before departure, we recommend you continue proper de-worming and regular exams up to 16 weeks of age or as advised by your veterinarian.
EXCEPTIONS TO OUR GUARANTEE:
We do not guarantee the disposition, temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, markings, or breeding ability of your new Chihuahua puppy. Replacements will not be provided if breeds prone to hip dysplasia are overweight. Neglecting timely vaccinations or regular veterinary care will void this guarantee. This guarantee does not cover spaying or neutering costs, including undescended testes.
All our Chihuahua puppies undergo an extensive health check before coming home to you. This check is conducted by our vet, who completes our Veterinary Health Report. This report, designed by a licensed veterinarian, assesses the condition of every Chihuahua puppy across various health aspects, including cardiovascular, skin, coat, eyes, mouth, teeth, gums, musculoskeletal, respiratory, ears, urogenital, and gastrointestinal.
We require this report to be completed close to the date your Chihuahua puppy comes home to ensure a recent health evaluation. The report is then reviewed internally for any issues noted by our veterinarian. Additionally, we ask that you have your Chihuahua puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within four days of receiving your puppy.
